Moving Planet Vermont
Saturday, September 24 – 8:00–5:00 – Your backyard to the State House in Montpelier
Moving Planet is a worldwide rally to demand solutions to the climate crisis—a single day to move away from fossil fuels. For too long, our leaders have denied and delayed, compromised and caved. That era must come to an end.Come on bike, on skates, on a board, or on foot. Come with your neighbors and your friends, your family and your co-workers.
Come be part of something huge. It's time to get moving on the climate crisis. Come to the state house in Montpelier for a culminating rally from 3-5PM.

Wild and Scenic Film Festival

For the past three years this environmental and adventure-based film fest has been an event you don’t want to miss. Environmental Action 2011

Hosted by New England Grassroots Environment Fund, Toxics Action Center, the Vermont League of Conservation Voters, Vermont Natural Resources Council, and VPIRG, this annual conference draws hundreds of activists, community leaders, and experts for a day of information-sharing, networking and fun. Vermont Community Energy and Climate Action Conference
Saturday, December 3 – Lake Morey Inn – Fairlee
Building on a very successful history, this conference is for those interested in how Vermont communities can take action to increase energy efficiency, renewable energy development, innovative transportation solutions and more. Participants will gain an increased understanding of a wide range of opportunities for tackling energy and climate change at the local level, while also having an opportunity to network with other Vermont community leaders.
