Public Access to Enforcement Actions on Polluters

It is important that the public have a right to weigh in on enforcement actions against entities that violate Vermont's environmental laws. H.258 - being debated in the House - is a modest but an important step in keeping our government transparent. The bill is not a "citizens suit" bill - it simply provides an opportunity for citizens to have a say in enforcement actions.
